Dr. Tucker Readdy joined the University of Wyoming in 2010 after completing his Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University in 2009. Originally from Sacramento, CA, Tucker earned his B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley and his M.A. at San Diego State University.

Dr. Readdy’s research was primarily focused on the relationship between exercise and mental health, including publications related to muscle dysmorphia and obsessive-compulsive disorder. He has developed a line of inquiry centered on the psychological and sociological experiences of coaches and athletes within the collegiate sport context.

Dr. Readdy has provided sport psychology consulting services to a number of athletes, coaches, and sport teams at UW, including current engagements with men’s basketball and volleyball as well as previous work with football, tennis, and women’s golf.
